My name is Heather Taylor and I am a Board Certified (NCBTMB) and California State Certified Massage Therapist. Ever since I was a child, I have been unceasingly fascinated by the human body and all its endless capabilities. This fascination, paired with my love of helping others, led me to massage therapy. In 2006 I completed my schooling from Utah College of Massage Therapy. I underwent rigorous training which included a large variety of modalities such as Swedish, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Injury Massage, Structural Integration techniques, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Prenatal, Cranial Sacral, Reflexology, and Hydrotherapy. Within the first couple years after school I gained experience working at a local spa, a chiropractor's office, and among my own family, friends, and their referrals. I also have several years of experience working in bigger, well known day spas such as Burke Williams in Orange County; and The Grapeseed Spa at South Coast Winery, nestled among the beautiful rolling hills of Temecula Valley Wine Country. Currently, I am an independent contractor, providing my skills anywhere from after-race sports massage to corporate chair massage events.
As I have grown as a therapist, I have realized that my love and passion lies particularly with injury related massage. The concept of injury massage is to look for cause of muscle dysfunction and help relieve chronic and acute pain. My goal is to assist you in becoming pain free! Consequently, I have focused my time on developing my strengths in specific pain relieving techniques and staying up to date through constant continuing education. My clients experience reduced stress, pain, inflammation, anxiety; relief from headaches; improved range of motion; strengthened muscle tone and immune system, and an overall improvement in their well-being. My long term plan is to continue building up my own small private practice, allowing me the time to really get to know each of my clients' wants and needs. At larger companies, the high prices and tourism create such a great influx of one-time clients passing through and I often felt I wasn't able to offer them all they need and deserve. In a smaller, more simple and private setting, I am excited to finally have the opportunity to devote more focus on my clients whom I can get to know on a personal level.
